Robot World Exihibition Korea

Robot World is a large Korean robot exhibition. At the annual Robot World 2011 event in South Korea this year there were more than 160 robot manufacturers from home and abroad with showcases of their products.

Various tasks

At the event are all kinds of robots designed for different tasks. So there are industrial robots that build cars or sensitive LCD panels used for flat screen TVs .Also, there are even robots that can act as a teacher and give story sessions to children.

Korea and robotics

Korea is number three in the world when it comes to developing robots. The Korean robot market in the last two years recorded a growth of 75 percent and has a value of about 1.8 trillion won, approximately $ 1.6 billion. The Ministry of Knowledge Economy is organizing this event since 2006 to promote the growing Korean robot industry.

Robot World 2012

In 2012 the exhibition will be held again at the KINTEX (Korea International Exhibition Center), Seoul. The exhibition will take place at October 2012.
