Navibot S with android

The Samsung Navibot S is the first member of the Navibot line that has a self emptying dust bin. Navibot S has a sensor to recognize when the dust bin needs cleaning, it goes back to the dock to empty its bin. When done, cleaning is continued where it was left off.

Scanning the environment

This robot vacuumcleaener finds its own way through your living room because with its camera it is taking pictures (30 frames per second) to make a digital map of your living room in which it is located. Because he makes this card, he knows exactly where it was, so no duplication.

Controlled through Android

Samsung developed an Android application for the Navibot so that you can control your vacuum system remotely. And control means not only on and off, but also the various functions of the apparatus.

The app can also activate sound so you know where the Navibot is at that moment. Navibot S has a webcam which allows you to see see what is the robot actually is doing. Useful if the burglar alarm goes off or if you think that the worker is sleeping on the couch. A combination with the Samsung Galaxy SII is of course obvious.
