National Robotics Week

Onder de noemer National Robotics Week (website) wordt er extra aandacht geschonken aan robotica in de V.S. Is dit de manier is om meer aandacht te vragen voor de snelle opkomst van robotica. Dat er meer aandacht en bewustzijn nodig is, is wellicht wel een feit.

Want het gaat hard en we mogen wel eens stilstaan waar de technologie, waaronder robotica, ons naar toe brengt. 

Week van de robot in Amerika

Wat is nu precies het doel van de 'week van de robot'. We pakken de website erbij en citeren:

• Celebrate the US as a leader in robotics development
• Educate the public about how robotics technology impacts society, both now and in the future 
• Advocate for increased funding for robotics technology research
• Inspire students of all ages to pursue careers in robotics and other Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math-related fields

Tijdlijn ontwikkelingen robotica

Ik hoop dat de initiatieven rondom de week van de robot beter zijn. De tijdlijn van robotica waar ik via de website op terecht kwam is wel interessant.
